I focused on upper, middle and lower breathing drills...standing, on all fours, and on my back in guard position. The drills RADICALLY improved my recovery during my matches and in between matches. I never felt better, with more wind than when I did Scott's drills. You must do the work, though. They aren't magic. You must be disciplined and do them every day! It took me about 2 weeks to notice a difference in my rolling and about a month to really feel like something had changed in my fundamental way I breathed when I rolled under pressure.
