Maintaining adherence to a special Pelikan production technique, the raw cotton material undergoes numerous processing stages to obtain very thin alternating sheets and overlapping each other until it gets a "ruled sheet". Then it is moulded, sandblasted, cut in the shape of a cylinder and turned with the help of a diamond. Then the gold rings are integrated into what will become the pen barrel or the cap. A work done with extreme precision to achieve a structure that does not have any joining point between materials. The writing instrument is then polished and then, as the last stage, the clip is fitted, characterised by a slight spring effect and the classic "furry spout" shape.
