Huge relief on my heels!
I've had terrible heel pain from having standing/walking jobs for 15+ years. My heels would be killing me by the end of the day, and the next morning I would have to practically tip toe so I wouldn't put pressure on my heels it was so painful. These are AMAZING! My feet don't hurt at all at the end of the day anymore, I would 100% recommend, I've been using the same inserts for 6+ months now and they're still going strong

I'm a believer!
I have been using these heel cups for a week now. I have at LEAST as 75% reduction in pain while walking. For context, I have been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis in my right heel for over a year. I got rid of it briefly by using Spenco insoles, stretches that my chiropractor suggested, and icing. But it came back, seemingly with a vengeance. My boyfriend had PF so bad a while back that he got surgery on one foot, only to get it a while later in the other foot. He reminded me that these specific heel cups are what made his PF go away (along with an intense icing regime). I read one other reviewer here say that after diligently using these heel cups for about 3 months she was able to get rid of her PF in both feet! I decided to give this a shot. So far, I have to say that I have been able to walk several city blocks and not be in agony. My heel still hurts when I initially stand after sitting for a while, but it quickly goes away because of these heel cups. My primary goal now is to increase my activity - after a year of dealing with intense pain, I am in desperate need of walking and other activity because, of course, I've gained weight, which only makes PF worse. I showed these heel cups to my podiatrist and he did notice that there was a misprint on which cup was supposed to be for Left and Right and my boyfriend noticed it as well. So I swapped them on each foot and I think they were right. Yes, there is a bit of pain because if your feet are as screwed up as mine, it takes some getting used to suddenly have support. The ridge on the heel cup may be the culprit there, but when compared to PF pain, it's NOTHING. I have a small foot, but a wide toe box. The cups have fit fine in all of my loafers and my comfy shoes. I am guessing if you get the right size, they fit no matter what. My podiatrist recommended that I also try the Smart Feet berry inserts and I will, but I am happy that I have some relief. He also recommended orthotics, but who knows if my insurance will cover them, so I am grateful for the heel cups! Give them a try - yes $25 may seem like a lot if they don't work, but if they do, you will be so happy like I have been.

So far so good...
I have had heel pain for almost a year and saw a podiatrist who diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis. They recommended some stretches and icing the inflamed area along with taking some anti-inflammatory medication. Then they wanted to cast my feet for custom orthotics after 2 visits in a week span. I did not want to, nor could I justify the $600+ out of pocket expense I would incur from this custom product. I have insurance but my insurance will not cover "flat feet" as they put it, but would cover the orthotics if I was diabetic. Since I am not diabetic I opted to not spend the 600 dollars for something I thought would go away with the stretching and icing regiment. I was wrong. Some days I could not bear to walk or even stand especially after sleeping overnight or after long commutes in a vehicle. But I would stretch and stretch until I could stand up and walk off the pain. I wanted to find a reasonable solution to my problem so I found these heel seats. I was skeptical that these would fit my foot as I am a size 14 4e shoe/sneaker wearer but they fit great. They are uncomfortable at first but I have noticed in the 3 days I have been currently wearing them that when I take off my sneakers my feet aren't hurting. I can walk around barefoot without pain and in the morning the pain has been lessened by a lot that I am actually really impressed by this product. I will continue to update about my progress but I am most concerned about the longevity of the product. I am only walking with the the heel seat but hope to be jogging/running with these soon. So far I would recommend this product. ***UPDATE*** After about 2 weeks these inserts still seem to be reducing my heel pain. They are no longer uncomfortable with normal walking so I guess I am getting used to the feel of them. I still have heel pain but it has been reduced. When I sit for prolonged periods of time I notice the pain comes back so I know to stretch and walk around. The pain when I take off my shoes and walk barefoot has also been reduced. Hopefully after a month I still will see positive results. I have not walked for great distances with these on or ran with these on because of it being winter but I will try to test these out accordingly. ***UPDATE*** So it has been about 2 months after my purchase of these Heel Seats for my plantar fasciitis. I will have to honestly say that my pain has reached a plateau. It has not completely gone away but isn't as pervasive as it was. After long walks and long periods of standing my feet do hurt in the heel region. It is still not nearly as bad as it was when I had no extra support. I would say that this product does work but for mild to moderate pain relief. For the price I am very satisfied with the product but it has been as effective as it will probably ever be and I know that now. If I were to do it over again I would still make this purchase and also recommend to friends of mine if they had the same problems with their feet to also buy this product.

These are BIG part of pain relief plan.
My PF pain was so bad I lost my balance trying to step on my foot in the middle of the night. My son was calling for me and my foot hurt so bad I couldn’t get to him. I got scared that if this was a real emergency I would struggle to help him in time. I’ll cut to the chase, I learned was how to fix my feet by training my toes and building strength and flexibility in my foot focusing on end range training of the big toe especially. However, these inserts are a part of the strengthening plan. They provide fast relief and comfort (while you’re wearing them) so you can get through your day and at night you can workout your toes, feet, ankles, and both major muscles of the calf. It is critical that you work at the root cause of PF pain, these inserts are not magic and will not make PF go away on their own. You must do the work. Consider a “blackboard” type device to assist in finding the right exercises to truly fix the root causes.

I've have four of these purchased over the last 8 years. XL Firm, two in the original black and two in the newer blue. I use them in my normal daily shoes and boots as well as hiking boots. Coupled with pretty regular inside use of Birks they have pretty much arrested and eliminated the plantar fasciitis I was developing in my late 40s. Are they the best? I'm sure some more expensive and/or custom solutions, particularly full insoles, are better, but those are two to maybe 10 times the price. Basically these are one of the better bangs for your buck and the real deal. I noticed some mixed comments but with foot things that's to be expected. You basically have to try them out. Everybody's feet, gait, and weight are different. The only downside I found is because they are fairly grippy rubber. They wear out the heels of my socks faster. I'd ask the manufacturer if there is any way to add a layer, at least to the top side, of something with a little less friction.

Useless. May as well put a layer of Kleenex at the bottom of my shoe. And what’s worse? Can’t return them. Expensive and completely unsupportive.

I had been suffering really badly with Plantar Faciitis for about a year. It was awful, really painful and debillitating. I had spent a small fortune on various inner soles and heel supports etc, but nothing did any good. I came across these brilliant inserts whilst scrolling through Amazon, read the reviews and decided to give them a go. I was so glad I did as the relief was instant and I could actually walk without being in absolute agony. It's about six months or a bit more and my heels are so much better. I can get up off the sofa to walk into the kitchen like a normal person, not someone who as soon as they stood up, could only hobble. I wear them every day and my heels/feet are almost back to normal. They support my arches , the fit is excellent and my husband, who also suffers, but not to the same degree, has also bought a pair. I'm not saying they cured me, but it feels that way. Out of everything I tried, these did the trick. I would highly recommend.
