Good tool for beekeepers
Very pleased with hive tool. Nice thickness, no way will this bend or break. Sharp scraping edge. Hook good size for lifting frames. Recommend this product for fellow beekeepers.

Great Hive Tool
I love this hive tool, mostly due to the heavy duty J hook that makes picking up a frame so much easier for my small hands. I use the J hook to pick up one ear and then usually can pick up the other side with my hand. It's very sturdy and well made. I got this one as a spare, my original is still going strong after 5 years. It fits comfortably in my small hand and I appreciate the weight as it doesn't bend while using it.

the straight end was not sharp.Had to file it down.But over all a good hive tool.It lifts the frames ok.

Nice heavy tool.
We were in need of a new hive tool as our first one disappeared. I like so much about this tool. The "thumb" that sticks out is for prying frames out of the box, the flat part scrapes off unwanted comb or dead bees, while the rounded part can be used to scrape, pry, or anything else needed in the hive. It's even good at removing stingers from your hand. Oh and one more use for this wonderful tool. It's good at removing baseboard so you can install new flooring.

Well made and sturdy. Edges are sharp and you will need to file them.. I would buy again.
I like this hive tool because it is stainless steel. I can throw it in the dishwasher when it needs to be cleaned. The die cut edges are quite sharp so you will need to file them. It is sturdy and would buy again.
