Ashanti Naturals Scented Whipped Shea Butter | African Body Butter for Men w/Coconut and Almond Oil (Midnight Amber Souffle, 8 oz)

I love this brand of Shea Butter! I purchased for the first time last year from Target and I’ve been searching for it ever since. I’m so happy to find it on Amazon! It keeps my skin feeling so soft and smooth throughout the day and into the night. When I apply it to my skin at night after a nice shower I can wake up in the morning to the same nourished skin without dryness! And, it smells amazing!

I love my purchase very much. The quality reminds me of whipped buttercream frosting! The smell is tantalizing!! The feel on my skin is unmatched! I really appreciate how long it lasts. I can use it in the morning and later in the day, I can still tell that I used it! Can’t wait to try the other scents! 10/10 I do highly recommend!!

Great product! Amazing smell and great on skin

The whipped formulation helps with application. Helps to seal in moisture after a shower. Rarely need to apply additional product throughout the day. Not overly greasy but it is Shea "butter" so expect a bit of shine & greasy feel. Wish there was a stronger scent for the version with black top, based on the name i expected a bit more. *Bought the Pink kisses which had/has a "weird/sour" smell. Difficult to disguise the sour smell. Will not purchase this scent again.

Purchased both the Midnight Amber & the Blackjack Souffle after reading the "description" and highly disappointed with them. Blackjack Souffle smells like Bengay or any other topical pain relief. I'd expect the smell in a retirement home or something, but this is HORRIBLE! The Midnight Amber smelled great when I first opened the container...even had me a little excited. When I went to apply it a day later, it had lost all its appeal and smelled like sawdust. Its as if the entire aroma profile changed once air hit it. Maybe they both came from a bad batch or something, but I know I will not be purchasing these ever again. I couldn't even give them away for free at work because they smell horrible.

The smell isn't my favorite but it definitely moisturizes your skin

I’ve tried the midnight amber and pink kisses scent and I like them both. The midnight amber scent is definitely more masculine in my opinion so I wouldn’t order it again for myself but it still smelled and felt nice. I LOVE the pink kisses scent. I see some people feel the shea butters are too heavily (and artificially) scented and maybe they are for some but it doesn’t bother me. The scent evens out and even dissipates after wearing it for a couple hours. And the product is also a bit greasy but it’s the perfect moisturizer for me especially during the cold, winter months. However, the moisture lasts all day, do you hear me? I apply it all over my body in the morning following a shower and by the evening, before my nightly shower, my skin still feels very moisturized. My only complaint, which is kinda major in my opinion, is the lack of a plastic/safety seal. I just don’t like purchasing a product that doesn’t come with a protective seal. I know there are bigger things to worry about but it makes me feel like the product can be tampered with between production and being received by the customer. All in all, great product and I’d love to continue ordering…but they should consider adding a protective seal after production.

Smells so good and keeps my skin moisturized all day! I have sensitive skin and my skin loves this!

Works great, the fragrance is over powering in my opinion

You really have to work this lotion in super thick leaves an oily residue. The smell is very overwhelming I put it on and after a few minutes had to wash it off.
