what kind of plug is it?

It’s just a normal three pin plug

Has anyone bought these for straightening beards?

Yes I have - I believe from my partner that they were good to begin with but don't grip the beard hair as good as the GHD'S do but for a fraction of the price they are worth it!

The Pencil Hair Straightener heating plate is 3” long.
