The paper is prepared 100% from cotton fibers (unlike most imported brands which uses much less cotton fibers), it is completely -free, suitably textured for water-based colors as well as acrylic painting. Each paper is painstakingly made and then dried naturally under sunlight. As a result, the manufacturing process is slow but the production is perfect for its purpose. It has an amazing quality of water absorbing capability, which it does evenly. The colors remain bright, throughout. This professional grade paper is highly recommended for your commissioned works and exhibitions. As you work with it you would be able to apply all types of painting techniques such as "wet on wet', "wash', "under-painting" etc. without any fear of buckling up of paper, water accumulation etc. However, if you are using Chitrapat Paper for the first time, we highly recommend you to use Chitrapat 270 GSM papers first and get accustomed to its characteristics. Chitrapat 270 GSM Rough and Net (Mat) textured papers are also available on .in. As an artist you should not need to paint more than two paintings in order to understand how Chitrapat Papers behave when water is applied to it. Use the rougher side of the paper (the side towards the label), good quality colors to get best result. This is medium size paper (11 x 7.48 inches). Our larger size set is also available on .in.
