is this a stapler and a nail gun? If a nail gun, what kind of nails do i use?

Yes - it is a (brad) nail gun as well. I use Arrow # BN1810 5/8" Brad Nails. This stapler takes 5 sizes of staples (1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2" & 9/16") and 2 sizes of brad nails (1/2" & 5/8").

Yes, this would work for chairs, upholstery - the staple size would allow for that. Also, the tension pressure is string enough to get through the fabric.

I'm female, 64 and have arthritic hands. is this as easy of a squeeze as stated? TIA.

I am a 59 y.o. female and find it very difficult and impossible with one hand without losing my spot because of trying so hard to squeeze the trigger. Very disappointed.

How do you think this would do with attaching chicken wire onto cedar and fir wood? I cannot hammer the proper U staples in

IT would secure the wire to the wood, but the staples would not take lot of force to dislodge the staple. If you are going ahead with projeci, get the longest staples the Stanley will take.Hugh
