One of the reasons that Santeria has become so popular is due to the use of natural remedies and herbal medicines prepared by the Santero Priests. By combining elements of spirituality with that of nature, a Santero Priest can accomplish great success with even the most difficult case. Spiritual herbal baths are widely used in the Santeria religion. Although all of the ingredients are natural, when combined with powerful supernatural magic, these herbal baths can produce incredible results. Spiritual baths have been used for hundreds of years to heal sickness and for supernatural power. The Montenegro Family has been practicing Santeria for over 200 years. This book explores the mysteries and techniques of preparing herbal baths used in traditional Santeria. The book contains lists of herbs, oils, powders, rituals and other magical ingredients used by Santeros for hundreds of years. The book contains formulas for preparing Orisha baths, love baths, money baths, cleansing baths, sweet baths and also baths used in Palo Mayombe and traditional Mexican witchcraft. Could use some editing, but all in all my favorite magical baths book
As far as the actual spells and baths are concerned, they all seem fine, the information all looks sound enough. What's annoying about this book though, is that even though it's written in English, they often (but, even more annoyingly, not always) fail to translate the names of the ingredients to English. So, some spells request "Agua de Florida" while others want "Florida Water" with no consistency, and even common plants like rosemary and mint are usually referred to by their Spanish names. It just seems sensible that if the book is in English, it ought to use the common English words for the ingredients. There are also some spelling and formatting errors throughout the text, in addition. After having the book for several years, though I've not tried anywhere near all of them, I've been happy with the results of the ones I was able to find the ingredients for (they don't seem to do well if you have to substitute ingredients, though.) The bitter herb baths at the beginning are especially good -- a friend of mine was cured from a mysterious chronic disease with one of these baths.

The baths fulfill their purpose
Being a santera I can say this book has a lot of insightful baths that are similar to those used, but are not exact. The reason I am still giving this book 5 stars is because all the baths I’ve tried from this book fulfill their purpose.

could be a good book
this could be a good book, but somebody needs to read the manuscript before reprinting it, an example is there are a few baths where the ingredients don't match the directions. there is a list of ingredients, when you read the directions that follow, it's directions for a different bath because none of the ingredients are mentioned. also, some ingredients are translated to English, some aren't.
