I haven’t had them for very long but so far the colors haven’t faded. I like them very much and they are good quality... better than others I’ve purchased.

Can this hold a iPhone 11 Pro Max without breaking?

It probably could but I think that much weight would cause the chain to dig into your neck. It's made to be used more as a lanyard for ID badges or keys.
