MOWI Atlantic Salmon 12oz, 2 Portions, Fresh Never Frozen

My wife cooked this for dinner….I usually don’t like fish unless it’s sushi but this was pretty good. It was seriously better than a nice restaurant but she usually makes restaurant quality dishes. I cleaned my plate quickly… I even ate the skin and that’s never happened before.. last time she baked it since it’s healthier and she forgot to season it since it was late…but we added finishing salt on top. Searing it is definitely tastier than baking.Also we’ve had wild salmon several times from Whole Foods but it’s just not as tasty. I like the portion size too since it’s just enough for the two of us.

this is sooo good i’m eating it four times a week! one package makes two meals and at about $3.50 per meal can’t really be called expensive. yes, it’s salty, but that just makes it good and i’m still well within my 2300 sodium grams per day anyway. i put it in the microwave in an anyday dish for four minutes on level 4, comes out rare—i eat the thinner half and save the thicker half to reheat tomorrow. doesn’t need anything with it but a spinach salad and a glass of wine!

This is more salmon for less money than what you will find at the grocery stores. I air fried for 9 minutes at 400 after coating it with olive oil garlic salt and a dash of lemon juice. It came out absolutely perfect!

This salmon brand is FRESH, DELICIOUS and all-around EXCELLENT! I have purchased all three types and am a very happy camper! One of my very favorite way of preparing inside is to treat it like i'm doing a "SCAMPI"--salt and pepper the salmon-to the pan mix EVOO and unsalted butter-I add fresh garlic,lemon slices and let the butter ALMOST become brown--add salmon-flesh side down and sear on all sides--I then add a few swigs of Dill and sometimes when I'm in the mood, at the end I throw in about 6-7 shrimp! USE A THERMOMETER--Fish is done at 145*--when it reaches that, remove from stove--let it sit for a minute and serve!........I never thought I could "master" cooking salmon----but I would serve this to Gordon Ramsey, honey!
