Brandywine Red tomatoes are known for their big, uneven fruit, and deeply lobed shapes. All the better for the flavor, of course which is surprisingly sweet and juicy. The fruit is large – 8 ounces on up to 2 pounds -- and no two will look exactly alike. The beefsteak-type fruits with rich red color and light pink-red undertones are meaty with full flavor and fewer . The 3" fruits are great for sauces and canning.
